There is much to see and do in the verdant meadows and woods beloved of Blount County. Some people come here to see the mountains in Fall dressed in all their Glory. Others come for our Rich Historical Heritage and some even come to see what we are most famous for and that is our Covered Bridges. We even have a festival to celebrate those Beautiful Bridges in October. But don't forget the Cave, the World-Class Golf, the Whitewater and the BEACH! We even have nice places for you to stay when you visit. Did I mention the Warm Southern Hospitality and Wonderful food? All this and more can be easily discovered in beautiful Blount County.
